2025 will mark the centenary of the death of one of the world’s most played composers, Erik Satie, the father of minimalist music. Revealing both the man and the music, the film brings Satie to life through his own words brimming with humour and despair, the archival testimonies of his prestigious contemporaries. But above all it gives a voice to the artists who perform his music today, testifying to his profound influence on modern music.
