Mont-Roig, Taller Sert, Son Boter… Bauhaus, factory, a carpenter’s workshop, intimacy, roots. Joan Miró set up studios that could be a carpenter’s or a blacksmith’s workshop.

In January 1940, in Varengeville-sur- Mer, Joan Miró began a series of 23 paintings that he finished in Palma de Mallorca and in Mont-roig in September 1941.

It is known as the “Constellations” series.
