A city at the south of the Mediterranean devotes itself to the festival of fire; a majestic spectacle followed by millions of people.

The emblem of the celebrations will be designed by an avant-garde artist in full evolutionary process. Okuda San Miguel, with his colourful surrealistic style is one of the main figures of street art and his work is frequently on show at the most important art fairs and galleries around the world. He will have the challenge of creating a gigantic sculpture, which will then be burnt.

The Fallas of Valencia, heir to a centuries-old tradition and recently declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, is faced with the eternal question: Can tradition be renewed? History and innovation once more confront each other in the search for equilibrium.
